Just got back from Bristol. Was slightly surreal to say the least, been going to the anson rooms since I was 13 ish (almost 25 now) and actually had tickets to see them there in '98 (?) but they pulled out last minute when the tour fell apart.
It was truely bizzare seeing them almost 10 years later in the same place and totally sober (had to drive

).
The band are amazingly tight, the vocals in particular genuinely sounded really good throughout. Scott Sorry puts in sooooo much effort, really helps bring them alive as a band. Was odd they didn't play New flesh seeing as it's the next single...
Main downsides were the small crowd, just feel they deserve more really, it felt a bit too much like an intimate "fan-only" gig which would have been better suited to a smaller place. Also thought the sound was a bit iffy, too much bass and drums whenever it went heavy.
Also seemed a tad short to me

Having missed both the supports (it's a bad habit) it felt like another 2/3 songs wouldn't go amiss.
Everlone sounded brilliant, tv tan was excellent, nexus icon is very good live (like the track a lot anyway), not sure bout rooting, sounded a bit too much like a wall of sound. Revolution was good tho, i wanna go is a brilliant closer. Was a good set generally
However, still a great live band, still really enjoyed it. Decent set-list (can't please everyone), just hope the new album gets em a few newer fans really
Enjoy the rest of the tour everyone.
