I'm "...just a little dissapointed" I dont understand why they would do this when on their TOTP "Caffeine bomb" performance they chanced and got away with the "....Shitting brown water" lyric.
Maybe Ginger is more willing to compromise now that he has his own record lable..

The band perform Caffeine Bomb on legendary UK music show Top Of The Pops, dressed in outrageous clothes and make-up. The lyrics "baby, can't you see I'm shitting brown water" pass by the censor unnoticed, thanks to Dante Bonutto submitting a false lyric ("baby, can't you see I'm in deep water) to the show's producers.

See, I don't think that even a spark of this has anything to do with compromise. I think it's been done as a joke - there is no way that the band (or anyone involved with the band) ever expected this to get any airplay. ever.

I found the bleeping hilarious - I'm sure it's deliberate. Like, here's a radio edit where we signpost the fact that this song has a lot of swearing in it. Seriously, if the whole record's this good...

Ah, see, you want this thread. This is the Bah-humbug what a rip off thread.

I'm no expert on the rules of getting a song in the charts but, if this is eligible(for length and download rules etc) then it certainly needs to be censored, (having heard the uncensored version, this ain't getting played on any major radio show!!)
Talking about getting other people to send it to you is a f**king joke. How is that helping the band???
I agree the bleeps are far from ideal, but the song is still immense and in two weeks we will all have the full proper uncensored album. Hopefully if enough people download it, the band will get the attention they deserve this time around!!
