Need abit of help. Coming over from manchester for the gig so just wondered how many of u on here were going? How close to Nottingham station is the gig? Been let down off a coupla mates so flying solo this time and could do with finding out any decent pubs/clubs near the gig to go b4 n after the gig without a strict dress code. All help is greatfully recieved.

Well, Nottingham train station is about a 20-25 minute walk from Junktion 7 - follow the tram line up towards Rock City, or alternatively hop on the tram across the road from the station, get off at Royal Centre and then you've got about a 5-10 minute walk - up the hill past Rock City (just past the Royal Centre tram stop), carry on all the way until it flattens out and it's on a corner at the junction.

What time are you getting in? Speakeasy (great rock pub) is jsut around the corner from Rock City, right by the tram stop - we can always meet you there and show you the way to J7 if you like. There's a bar downstairs there where the drinks are fairly cheap, and RJP has a habit of wandering around before the gig there...

To make it a little clearer - take a look at this map - you'd be coming up Talbot Street.

No problem! We won't be getting in till about 6.30ish I expect, but we can definitely meet you in either Speakeasy or J7 if you think you can find it - I'll PM you my mobile number anyway in case you have any problems.

There's usually a fairly large crowd of listees and boardees who turn up for pre-gig drinks in J7!

I've got my ticket :) , unfortunately I'm also flying solo this time and driving from Derby - so no drinking for me.
Where are people meeting up?, it would be good to chat to some fans. Also if anyone wants a lift from Derby just give me a shout

James.

Your best bet will be to head straight for Junktion 7 - the bar downstairs is open from midday, and is fairly reasonably priced. Usually a decent sized crowd in there before, all pretty much impossible to miss!

We'll (me, Rich, Dave and Jim) probably be there from 6(ish) onwards.

Cool, I'll be the one with the Ginger - the monkeys are loose t-shirt and jeans (hmm - just realised several people may have that t-shirt  , I'll also have a black coat with a Therapy? gemil badge on the collar which might help :) )

Hope to see you tomorrow,

James.

check with the venue if they know stage times beforehand , me brother says it was a late one last time , and time before that ginger went on around 11 , so could affect travel that way

And the past couple of times Ginger has played there, he hasn't finished before midnight, so if you're planning on using the public transportation, make sure you don't miss your last train or bus...or if you do, have a backup plan (even if that means kipping in the station, it's good to be prepared :) )
