Maybe, as the title says, I'm missing the point, but I can't see why there should be a one of reunion gig with a new bass player who has to learn all the back catalogue, when you have 2, yes, that's 2 perfectly capable bass players that have both been in the band for years and know the tracks inside out.

Now maybe Danny and RJP are busy at the time of the gig, but surely one of them is available for the gig.

Maybe it's also jealousy, that I can't be there

I am with you Steve, what is the point of a new bass playing learning everything for 1 gig? Surely all that work for Sorry dosentmake sense just for 1 gig, John Poole should be the man and for that matter Denzel should be on drums, I think he is the best ofthe 3 of them. But I think this is just the start of the Wildhearts and there is a lot more to come, fingers crossed.

Us mere northerners just missed out on an acoustic tour aswell.

I think there maybe a case jumping to conclusions here. I understood that the purpose of the gig was to be filmed for DVD and PROMO use. That to me suggests that sometime in the not too distant future, there maybe another Wildhearts product to promote?

Just to clarify

1. Yes I am going
2. Don't know how I am going to get there and back.
3. Have no money left
4. Have just started a job that means I will be at work on the night of the gig
5. but Phuket (to use the Thai) I will be there, don't know how why when, but I will be there.

You may know more than me about the situation, but is Scott Sorry going to be a permanent addition????, if not, why showcase the band in a promo dvd that is going to feature a 'fill in' bass player???

I think the whole Scott thing is getting blown out of context.

Are the The Wildhearts a band made up of unique individuals or regulars who have been in the band for a while? I really dunno????????

For me I would love to see wildies as G, RJP, Denzil and CJ, but to be honest, that is a major part of Gingers current touring line up.

Out of every one, Denzil is more WIldhearts than anyone I have seen for a long while. Possibly even more so than Ginger. He just seems to have a spirit. And that is 'kin saying something.
