Zombina & The Skeletones

Went to see these at the Water Rats theatre on Saturday - bleedin' great gig! I got into ZATS 'cos of a post on this 'ere board about Liverpudlian bands (whoever posted that - a million thanks!), but this was my first chance to see 'em live. They did not disappoint, oh no.
We went down in full-on halloween costume, I was a zombie, Sam was a witch and me mate Dave was supposed to be a werewolf, but it came out more like Barf from Spaceballs
Zombina & Co were awesome, they have a sort of punk/rockabilly thing going on, but with loads of other influences thrown in too - check out their myspace site here
Absolute class live - all in make-up too: a Wolfman on drums, phantom of the opera at the keyboards, Invisible man on bass, a zombie on guitar and a vampire lead singer, can't go wrong with that can you? 8)
They're touring again in December, I urge anybody who enjoys rock'n'roll, punk, or horror movies (their song Red Planet is going to be on the soundtrack to upcoming Troma film "Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead") to go and see 'em.
