Get what? There is a Dave Connolly that plays football, and there is a Dave Connolly that plays trumpet. If they are one in the same I'd say there's a talented bloke!

Anyone actually listened to the song while in New York? I was fortunate enough to have my first trip there at the end of July, so had the whole of Valor on my MP3 player.

Lord, striding down Madison Avenue in the sunshine with Mother City blamming in my ears was the closest I'll ever get to living inside a movie. :D

I somehow doubt it's gonna have quite the same effect wandering between gates at the airport while I change flights... :?

Never heard from "Observer" again either. They both jumped down our throats right away though. C'est dommage. Is Zhukov a band, or a brand of Vodka?

I don't really think so, all he had to do was state why he wanted the lyrics...., and a PLEASE might not have gone down badly either!!!!

Ok...

1) I politely requested the lyrics. Sorry for using "cheers" instead of "please". As a newbie, I didn't realise the required standard of etiquette was so high...

2) I had to state "why" I wanted the lyrics? Er, how many reasons are there?..."I like the song and wondered what the words are"...

3) THANK YOU very much to the kind person who wrote out the lyrics. I am eternally grateful...

I hope this is sufficient to appease you all.
Love and peace, Zhukov.

I think Mr Zhukov has a point there.

Has this thread has descended into name calling now?......

Which is perfectly valid... and welcome to the board by the way :) .

Not to drag this on any longer than strictly necessary, but I think some of us were a bit suss 'cos up 'til now we didn't know you could download it legally, so the only reason you wouldn't have the lyrics is if it was knocked off from somewhere (not necessarily a bad thing if you planned to get the whole album off the back of it, but Ginger operates on a pretty tight budget now he's independent and every sale makes doing it again more possible).

I don't doubt for a second that it's all above board, so tell us where you got it from - so we can point others in the right direction as much as anything - and we've got one more way to spread the word. :D

It's from The Godfather.
