I'll probably show up for the New York show just because it'll likely be the bigger of the two. I doubt that I'll be doing the VIP thing... but I'm gonna be pissed if that leads to the band not being accessible to the regular folks like they usually are.

There's a faint possibility that we might make it to the NJ show, but I doubt it.

I'm quite keen for the NJ show because Hoboken always promises a good night out. The wife will likely concur.

I just bought the VIP tickets. I don't see why I shouldn't... it's damn expensive to get to NYC and to stay there. I should be able to get the time off work, but it's not a guarantee. If I can't, I don't think there will be a shortage of people from this site who will take them off my hands.

It's official. We're there, dude. I got the time off, and the train is booked. Can't wait to see you all (and especially the Wildhearts!) again.

Any Butch Walker fans gonna be at the Wildhearts show in NYC? I just got an email from Butch, and he's gonna be in NYC, playing at Webster Hall on, you guessed it, March 14th. What are the odds? my two favourite songwriters, both in NYC on the same night?

I wonder if I can see both. Butch's show is 16+ and it says doors open at 7. The Wildhearts show's doors open at 8. And Webster Hall is a short cab ride away from the Bowery. Think I can make this work?

Who remembers what time it was when The Wildhearts started playing last time? Yeah, there were three opening bands so that's not a great indicator, but, yeah.

I'd call the venues if I were you and see ift they have a likely timescale. Remember that they didn't come onstage in Brooklyn until like well past midnight. If Webster Hall is run more as a venue and less as a club, it might be looking at a show finishing by midnight (I won't go so far as to compare to a UK WH show where you get out by 11 in time for last orders), but who can tell...

Either way, I guess I'll come say hi at the NJ show.

Superb poster. Do you think that we will be able to buy from the website?

Thanks for the replies. I think I will call the venues so that I know what the approximate timelines are.

I love Butch, but I will have no qualms about skipping out on him to make it to the Wildhearts.

Considering it's a 16+ show, and the Wildhearts started so late last time, there is a good possibility of seeing nearly two full shows.

Two more important things:

1) Which reliable fan who plans to be in NYC will send my cell phone a text message a few minutes before the WIldhearts appear ready to start? This is very important for "proper double-concert-attending efficiency".

2) I have VIP tickets. Does that change everything? Should I be looking to go earlier to be in the soundcheck and meet and greet? I assume so. How much earlier than the concert does that tend to be? This probably nullifies point 1, I imagine...
