Plugged me les paul into me guitar port, whacked cubasis on and BLAM! Out came a cover with rubbish lead playing on it.

If you want to record on your PC absolutely. If you take the time to dial in the right settings you can fool people into thinking you're using real amps, my settings are ok, but I've heard people who've got them perfect.

You can stick a mic through it if you have the right cable, there are presets for it. The new Line 6 Toneport is better for that kind of thing though.

My PC is not good enough to handle a guitar port.

I get terrible delay between hitting the string and getting a "noise".

yeah i saw that after i bought the guitarport (which still hasnt arrived)

ah well, i only want to do rough vocals with it, should be ok
