Just got back from the Extreme show.

I finally got to meet my guitar-hero. That was cool.

Also, one of the songs on their new album has a fancy guitar bit that is very, very similar to the fancy guitar bit in Howling Willie's "Country Boy".

That is an ace setlist, but not worth £35.

Until I read the bottom bit, I thought the stars were your ratings... (wow, 1 star, harsh! )

Yeah, it was pretty exciting. I did meet him and get a pic taken with him, but because of the crowd waiting to meet him, I pretty much just got to shake his hand and get the picture snapped before I was being herded out of the way again. It wasn't at all like the times I met my other hero, Ginger.

Cheers Nuno - looks like a good mix of a set. I feel all their albums are strong so at least they didn't just stick too heavily to 'Pornograffitti'. Would like to see 'Kid Ego' ' Mutha' & Hip Today' in there and maybe a couple less newies (although by the time the UK sees them the album will be out) Did it seem like a short show? Let's see the photo then?!!

Cheers for the set list!

These are all the pics from that night. There were a bunch of other notable names there because of the Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp thing. I'm the one in the green hat.

Is that lass Alicia Silverstone cuz if it aint she doesnt half look like her.

I've had the luck of actually listening to the new album already and I think it's a grower, my taste has changed so much since Waiting For The Punchline it seems like there's something missing but I'll give it another few whirls before i pass proper judgment on it, I didn't like the song Star when it first got released buy I do now so hopefully the rest of the album will do the same.

On a completely unrelated note I think I'm being stalked by the Eagles, everywhere I've been today I've heard Hotel California and all She Wants to do Is Dance. :?
Did you just say "Pig Flute"?

Would it be pedantic of me to point out All She Wants To Do Is Dance is by Don Henley as a solo artist? It would? Oh...

As for Extreme, still umming and ahhing about that. Was hoping they'd play more from Pornograffitti and the price is higher than it should be in my opinion but...not sure I can miss it.
