Im brand spanking new here,,but not new to The Wildhearts..I,ve been listening since 95.
It was "I Wanna Go Where The People Go" that got me hooked on them.
I just did,nt know there was a forum...until now :D

What i want to ask is
Does anyone have the B-sides from the Earth Vs The Wildhearts singles???
Im planning on flying over for the Shepherd Bush gig,,and would like to be familiar with the B-sides that they are going to play.

the only b sids you will ever need are - and the bullsit goes on and 29x the pain (plus give the girl a gun but thats from the phuq era so that dont count for this show!)

I beg to differ, Two Way Idiot Mirror and Beautiful Thing You are probably some if the best tunes ever written by ginger (In my opinion) and the fact they might be going to play them is reason enough for me to come all the way from Glasgow to the gig.

Not to mention Girlfriends Clothes, Shut you f**king mouth, down on London & Dangerlust.......how can you not mention Dangerlust!!!!

Start here and work your way through all the suggestions:

http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/cheap-hotels

...then, if where you end up booking is one where you can cancel up until the day without paying (and most are apart from the cheap Travelodge rooms), you can keep an eye out for bargains every now and then. Best to book something upfront though just in case... it only takes one big event to be announced to make all the hotels bung the prices up.

Like I mentioned on the other thread, the Ibis Euston is cheap and cheerful. I'd go back there. It's right next door to Euston station, but kind of tucked down the side so not too noisy. In fact there may well be another Ibis closer to Shepherd's Bush, so if I can be bothered I'll go google that in a second.
Right now I am trying to download something rather important ;)

The whole idea of sending the message out to the Update List was so that the presale wouldn't end up on the board and, therefore, be publicly available (the message even stated as such in the second paragraph), otherwise what's the point?

The fact that certain third party sites blew the gaff renders this somewhat moot but, hey ho, worth a try.

Depends how many people have seen the link I guess, but yeah, I think it's likely to be pretty popular.

I'm not even sure an official 'on sale' date has been published?
