Ha, ha, I was utterly terrified! I loved the idea but there was no way I wanted to be the *only* person singing along - it's great to have the whole crowd singing along to it but you don't really want to hear my voice on it's own through a PA.... that's why I backed off. But he was insistent. God, that was amazing though. I was so bloody flattered. Singing with Ginger... dream come true.
So this is why I was trying to get other folk to join in. Cover up my caterwauling! I'm glad you helped out

singing that into the mic together with Ginger was – well – words kind of fail me but it was one of the best musical experiences of my life!
Mine too. I can die a happy Wildhearts fan now. I don't think it's going to get any better than that. 12 years I've been a fan and now I'm just beside myself.

This is the funny thing - I didn't even know them! But bless their cotton socks, they did take pictures for me. I have 2 photos and one of the girls said she'd send me more. When I get them I will let you know. I think I can see your nose in one of my pictures but that's it so far. I'll send you a link to 'em.

You're giddy? I'm still floating 10ft off the ground! I still haven't got my marbles back and it took half an hour for my hands to stop shaking. My god...
