I'm not sure but it's definatley not an unreasonable price, its one of those venues that wherever you stand you seem to be quite near the stage so even if you stand right at the back and it's open season for Ginger you're still not safe.

I love the place I've had many a surreal night there, like seeing a band all dressed in tanktops and bicycle clips called the Ill Bodies playing a set of songs composed entirely about Bill Oddie

Everybody wants to be Bill Oddie
How much would you pay to be Bill Oddie for a day
Bill Oddie says
Did you just say "Pig Flute"?

Funny you should say that me mate just reminded me they did actually cover the madonna song but reworded it so it was actually about Bill Oddie

Re: Bring your own percussion?

Damian wrote:Apparently, Ginger is encouraging people to bring their own percussion (of any sort) to the gigs, and they'll be able to get onstage and play. At least that what it says in the write-up for the Worcester gig...

That may be due to that when I purchased my tickets direct from the venue, I told the barman that this was being encouraged after I read it on here. So if it wasn't happening before, it is now. The Worcester show will rule!!

If poss could someone let me know what time Ginger has been getting on stage at these gigs and roughly how long the set is? There's gotta be one or two of you who were sober enough to remember :D
Its just I'm going to the Manchester gig but my other half has a works do and is hoping to come along to the gig later on.
