The vocals are, in typical Ginger style, a bit 'buried', but my ears have gotten used to it now (it's been going on since singles club days!) - I dunno why he always seems to do that, though. It's not like he's a crap singer or anything.

He's a bloody terrible singer!

In a way that adds to the appeal tho! And, admittedly, when his voice has some money spent on it production wise it is very very suitable to the songs he sings, however more in the case of the wildhearts than solo stuff.

definately dont agree there assmask-----for me (and some others who have already said so on here) Market Harbour is the best thing ginger has ever done and that includes Wildies------his vocals are absolutely flawless on it-----but hey----each to their own

I don't think Ginger's vox are at all bad on Market harbour, in fact it could wel be the best showcase for his voice out of anything he has done.

I mean his occasionllay rasping style is better suited, to my mind, to Wildhearts records for the aggression and power he puts into it. Noone can spit lyrics out quite like Ginger can! Imagine the Sweetest Song by any other singer, it just wouldn't work.
