potatoes and you

Postby robdy2k » 10th Nov 06, 20:39

Hey

Hasn't anyone noticed this thing about a new Ginger record called 'Potatoes and You' available on mail order on the front page of the website?

Any ideas what this is and why we've not heard more about it?

Cheers

Rob

It was only on sale at gigs before now. Much the same format as Great White Monkey.

"Potatoes" is THE greatest acoustic recording of / by Ginger to date. Givvi is awesome on "Unlucky In Love"!

What is the song that they play in "some rehearsed improvisation"? Its annoying me becuase i want to learn it, and it would be better if i knew what it was called.

It's the theme from 'The Guns Of Navarone' isn't it? (I'd check, but alas it's not on telly this weekend... Sod's law  ).

It was a running request throughout the tour, so they learned it.

Greets!

A quick question for y'all then, is this a straight acoustic guitar album like Grevious Acoustic, or does it feature other instrumentation with drums and whatnot. I really liked the bonus acoustic stuff that came with the reissue of SG5 and was just curious if this one is recorded in a similar fashion, or more like the previously mentioned album.

okay well less obvious alcohol partaken, on Grievous you can actually hear them getting progressively bollocks as the discs go on, Potatoes and Monkey you cant
