Wow, bit of a trek to Swindon from Wales, eh?

Really wish I could go, but I can't be arsed dealing with travel/accommodation logistics.. Have fun, anyway! And I'm expecting to see a setlist.. :)

Good, i'll need help remembering the setlist afterwards. Hope they play lots of new stuff - Slaughtered Authors, New Flesh, Sweetest Song, Rooting For The Bad Guy, Destroy All Monsters...... all of 'em would be ace!

I shall be attending tonight, with my good lady.
She'll be the one with the yellow crutches and look of pain on her face.

was a very straight up no bullshit sorta set. Ginger diddnt really talk between songs and one of the ferw times he did he said he wasnt cus he was feeling a bit depressed or something

also he said we're not going to piss about doing an encore theres no point

fuckin 1 hour and 45 minutes of the wildies non stop.

Met ginger near the toilets after the show and got a photo with him

the loyalties were really nice guys, wasnt aware that one of them is ex yo yos.

I was right in front of scott sorry most the set, I probably looked like a dick head but I was enjoying myself and to me thats all that matters.

The venue was a little shithole to be fair like.

I was shocked at how small it is.

The new flesh diddnt get played, which was a bit wierd, youd think the single would get a bit of promotion, even if they diddnt paly it could of mentioned theres a new single out, and my plan was to cancel my hmv order and buy the new flesh from the merch stand, got there and asked if they had it and the people there said oh we should of brought some copies.

Aww. Yeah, you never forget your first Wildhearts gig. :D

Agreed it's a bit weird they didn't play the New Flesh, too.

I've seen The Wildhearts about 20 times and that must have been about the best one.

Quite confused about what was written above - I didn't hear everything Ginger said but he looked really happy. I actually quite liked the venue too - I've never seen one quite like it - the band played behind a bannister basically. But yeah - just non-stop, no messing for an hour and 45 mins. And the crowd went nuts throughout.

Im sure he mentioned the word depressed the first time he spoke about 4 songs in

maybe I mis heared what he said

I was in front of scott most the night apart from towards the end of caffiene bomb when i fled to the bar to get water. and i stood to the side for a rest during love u till i dont

I was interacting with sciott quite a bit, climbing onto the bit of wall the banister was fixed to and he was singing into my face and I was singing into his

That bannister thing was awesome to grab onto and jump.

when I get the pic of me and ginge ill post it, just gotta wait for the guy who took it to send it to me.

and yeah ginger did look happy

and when I asked him for a pic he was nice as fuck.

and he looks better wtihout the dreads
