It seems so, but the bugger never took his cowboy hat off all night so it was hard to tell just how short he's gone.

So.. will it still be a fun gig tonight, despite the fact I've only heard about 5 Jason & the Scorchers tracks? :D

Ean, did you not see him wandering round muchly sans-hat before they went on? It's short, but not Ean short :P.

Looks good, he looks much younger. Good move Ginge!

And yes, you WILL enjoy the gig immensley. I only knew 2 J&TS songs, but it was a hell of a lot of fun. Warner is a show on his own!! (and looks like Dave Grohl's dad, honestly)

Went to dudley last night instead of manchester tonight... but now I'm sorely tempted to go Manchester tonight anyhoo.....

Woo, that's good to hear. How were the GDW/CJ, too? Looking forward to seeing CJ especially..

I'm so excited about tonight. I've been a huge Scorchers fan since 29x The Pain in '94. Saw Jason Ringenberg in April and just as excited about this. See you there.

Should I wear my cowboy hat or not?!?

Erm, nope. :? But then it was dark and he's had his hair cut, so I probably didn't recognise him... or something.

There were a couple of covers thrown in too, fluffygrue, so you'll know about half the setlist (depending on which J&TS songs you know obviously...).

Warner is a great guitarist and a top bloke - signed my CD and everything - and he reckoned that Camden should be pretty special too.

It's a shame it wasn't more full last night. Seriously guys, if you can afford it and there're tickets left, you should definitely get yourselves down to wherever's nearest. Three great bands for about ten quid? Bargain.

Cowboy hats are perfectly fine, unless you're standing in front of me. :D

That was the only reason I wasn't going to wear it. I'm quite tall with it on!

Anyway see ya's later.

Deinfately cowboy hat!

And GDW were brilliant, more banter from Random than susal with GDW set - I think he's getting used to being a frontman now :D (also wished us a happy engagement from onstage, and that rocked!)

CJ was far far better than when we saw him in riffs - suited a bigger stage much better. His songs grow on me more every time I hear 'em.

3 fantastic bands. Can't go wrong with this gig.

I'm talking myself into it aren't I? Well, if you see anyone there with a pink flying v ukelele, that'll be me. Or Ding.

So, did anyone record the gig last night? I know that there's someone who records lots of the gigs and sells the cd's - I think I found the website off here, something done with Ginger's approval IIRC.

We went, saw the God Dam Whores but then had to leave as g/f was feeling mightily sick! (that smiley really should turn green...) We nearly didn't go at all, but thought we'd brave it, but it was not to be - gutted!

Oh, and did Jase Edwards really start playing the intro to Loco by Wolfsbane for GDW's last song or are my ears packing in? :P
Eh, is this thing on?
