I think the disturbing thing is that 'The Hand Of A Child' seems like a bleakly realistic little vignette of abuse compared to the OTT cartoonishness of the rest of it. The details of the child 'wiping a tear' and 'undoing the flies;' the emotional manipulation in order to keep it a secret and make the child feel guilty ('you don't want to see your daddy in a penitentiary..') and the legacy of abuse being passed on 'to your own family' because abused children become damaged and can become abusers themselves....its just....urgh!

I thought I'd come and have a peep at this forum, just to guage the reception temp.

It's jus nice to know that there are still people out there who DO have the brains to get it.
