Whats wrong with The Academy? Ive never been there. Surely it's got to be better than the Uni, with all the pillars and restricted views.

Poor sound quality,
No atmosphere,
Alcohol costs too much.
Just to name but a few things wrong with the academy

Oh I see. As I say a new venue for me. As regards atmosphere hopefully WH fans can get the place rocking. I obviously hope the sounfd quality can improve for gig. As for alcohol, well I decided a few years back not to drink at any venue any more I drink my alcohol before and after the gigs. That way I can enjoy the show without busting for a piss and having to miss a song or two. Although £3 a pint is of course way too much.

It's quite a large venue for The Wildhearts I reckon. Considering the last few times The Uni has been barely half full.

That's what he reckons. Could be mistaken and/or talking out of his arse tho.

Right, finally got around to ordering a couple tickets for Bristol, but I did find the site "Wegottickets" to almost drive me nuts.

And maybe the Milton Keynes gig is something like the venue sales, not what all the ticket websites have sold, who knows

i've got two of the 12.

the venue for the mk gig is weird - it only seems to sell out for local band nights.
i saw gilby clarke, dogs d'amour and a couple ofother gigs there last year and the place was virtually deserted :?

sorry i don't mean to put anyone off - i'll be down the front singing every word even if no one else shows.
why do i have to ignore you to get your attention?

Hi! :)

I have tickets for the London show. Just wonder how the venue is like. Good sound? Possibility for my girlfriend to have a good view?

I also wonder if anybody have a good tip for hotel booking in London. Looking for a hotel in central London that will not kill my wallet :) .

When i went upto london to see the sonic circus , i stayed in a travel lodge, not very pricey at all , was a nice place aswell. And Ginger and the rest of the band was staying there 8) so if its good enuff for 'em .....

That was in the kings cross , not too far away from the centre. I should imagine thered be more of them around aswell.

www.travelodge.co.uk

Hope that helps
