Yup - first two albums were great. Third one, not so much.

Open road off their first album, yeah was very cool but they kept getting better.

I love that band so damn much, the lyrics and everything are just so spot on.

I actually think that the best allbum was the third one - many disagree tho - but for lyrical cleverness and such ot was amazing. The second album was more balls out rock which worked well I think.

Are they still around? They are one of the bands that I've always wanted to see live, but never managed.

Nah they broke up shortly after the last album.

Think the singer/bassist went on to something else...

James Maxwell Stuart Collins III (born August 28, 1978) was the lead singer and bassist of Eve 6, which disbanded in 2004. He authored most of the band's songs. He met lead guitarist Jon Siebels in high school, and the two formed a band. He has three brothers and two sisters. In May of 2003, Collins was arrested for indecent exposure around the time the band was prepping for its third album, It's All in Your Head. Subsequent to poor sales of Its All In Your Head (192,000 Units Moved), Eve 6 was released from their recording contract and disbanded.

From mid 2004-May 2005, Collins performed in a band under the name Brotherhood of Lost Dogs with the drummer from Fountains of Wayne, Brian Young and bassist Joe "Bass" Howard formerly of The Posies. They played live shows in the Los Angeles area and never released any recorded material.

As of June, 2005, Collins has started a new project with former band member in Eve 6, Tony Fagenson. This new project was tentatively titled The Sugi Tap, which the band has changed to Sugi Tap dropping the word "the".
