Listening to Yoni I think that Denzel is utterly fantastic. In some songs he just makes it.
I love Ritch, I love his Industrial rhythming and his tight as fuck powerful live performances and for the Wildhearts he is perfect (Ritch doing Vanilla Radio is gorgeous).
In some songs Denzel reminds me of Travis Barker for his intricate beats which is something I don't think we've had with Ginger before. There's a song on Yoni where he really uses the open and closed hihats to really good effect. It's very rare that i listen to specifically the drumming on a song over the music and lyrics but Denzel is one of the few drummers that has made me do that.
I would say yes, he is. And this comes from a staunch Ritch-er
EDIT - the above might not be clear. i think Denzel is best. I just think Ritch suits the Wildhearts. Which wasn't actually the question.....
