I'd probably assume the opposite y'know. I don't think theres been a single wildhearts album released in japan that doesn't have bonus tracks on

Sorry, that was a bit of a rushed post. Was intended more of a question.

About what stage do we usually see alternate versions appearing? I know I've bought the last 2 albums from HMV Japan but never really noticed at what point they've appeared for sale from the point of an album being 'officially' announced with a release date.

Got a bit ahead of myself, it's just reading the Classic Rock blogs it's been mentioned a couple of times that Ginger doesn't consider 'bonus tracks' as part of the album, combined with it being a totally different producer and label got me wondering a little if there would be any limited editions.

Far too early to make any assumption, apologies. :)

The Japanese edition usually comes out the same week as the regular one. In Japan at least. Don't know how long it would take till the imports arrive.

Not really news but Devin Townsend talking about his next album...

"Just want to say that yes, I'm heavily influenced by the Wildhearts...

I CANNOT wait for their new album.

Addicted is partially an homage to them."

Nice to hear

i've said it before and i'll say it again - a devin-produced wildies album would be an absolute fucking world-beater!!!

i also can't wait for both the new WH album, and the remaining three dev project albums!

Tracklistings on Japanese issue :

01. Chutzpah jnr (Bonus Track)
02. The Jackson Whites
03. Plastic Jebus
04. The Only One
05. John Of Violence
06. You Are Proof That Not All Women Are Insane
07. Tim Smith
08. Low Energy Vortex
09. You Took The Sunshine From New York
10. Zeen Requiem (Bonus Track)
11. All That Zen (Bonus Track)
12. People Who Died (Bonus Track)
13. Mazel Tov Cocktail
14. Chutzpah

What's the h*ll of these special treatment for Japan!? Are you still willing to buy Backstage / Cargo issue (only 10tracks)? I am a bit worrying if Backstage Alliance can get their invested money back......I would suggest them to announce any of single release (inc unleased tracks on b-side) from Chutzpah album before we make a reservation of Japanese album......what do you think?

Just done a price comparison from hmv japan and amazon japan.

Hmv grand total including postage is ¥3,881 which according XE.com is about £25

or amazon which is a sickening ¥ 5,381 which is about £35.

Guess I know where i'll be ordering it from :D.

Seriously though how can they charge so much more shipping, tis mad.
