their album is called "we rock sweet balls and can do no wrong."

i'm pretty sure if you say that out loud three times, a disco ball will grow from the ceiling, you'll sprout three extra ballsacks, and every girl in sight will immediately suffer a severe bout of spontaneous clothing vanishment.

i'm SOOO getting this album!
IF THERE'S A SOUND YOU PLAY THAT DOESN'T FIT TODAY,
WHY NOT JUST PLAY THE BASTARD ANYWAY?!

Will certainly be making sure I get to the Sheffield gig early to see those nut bags!
I wonder if Ginger would have any interest in signing these lads to Round records?

I've actually got this album - it's surprisingly good. I mean, sure, it's a cover album, but the songs are done in slightly different styles (Stayin' Alive is done in an AC/DC style, Jive Talkin' sounds very hair metal, You Should Be Dancin' is a bit Judas Priesty, Our Love is pure power ballad, Night Fever is a bit speed-metal-riffy, too Much Heaven is pure Led Zep Kasmir, etc etc) and that keeps it fresh. It's a gimmick thing - you won't be cracking this out for a daily listen - but it's a gimmick done very well.

Now, the new Electric Six album, on the other hand... That's a keeper right there. Really: it's a fucking brilliant rock album.
