There's always tickets on offer shortly before a big gig either here or on the LiST.
I'm banking on that... only got Level 2 tickets, but I want to be front center and feel young for one last time...

I know, annoying that, isn't it!!

Train tickets to London for the 20th will be released for purchase tomorrow according to my local station and I'll certainly try to get them before I head off on my little trip, but if the dstaff in your local station are as helpful as they are in mine, you should get it quite cheap.

I'm off to Somerset tomorrow and called in to the station 3 months ago when I knew what dates I'd be going, they sorted me out with direct tickets to taunton and back, with a stop off in Birmingham for a night with a friend I haven't seen in years for £34!!!

If anyone's going from glasgow you can get cheap return flights just now at ryanair, either free or 50p for the tickets and you just pay the air tax. Me and 2 mates got return tickets for £40 each

For those of you who don't know the area. Shepherds Bush central line station is closed until October, you'll need to use Hammersmith & City (which is crap at weekends) or bus it.

Cheers.

Andy, could you let me know the hotel and price and whether they have any vacancies if you have checked already?
I'm not so sure about the hotel I've booked at the moment - the Ramada Docklands looks nice enough, I got a great price, it's got access to the DLR and is incidentally located right beside the airport I plan to travel to, but it seems like quite a long way from Shepherd's Bush, especially if I should leave after midnight for any reason.

Well, not knowing my way around London, that opinion is based on http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/ - judging by that the journey takes an hour at best and 2 at worst - are there any more effective options to get there apart from a cab maybe? (Also, I'd like to visit central London for a few hrs on the Sunday as well, but that shouldn't take quite so long.)

Sorry for pestering the board with these questions, but as I said when it comes to London, I feel... a little lost sometimes... (ahem)
