It could be a classic, up there with Slade, Lennon etc. Every year I keep hoping that he'll do one, but it never happens

I sent in an 'ask Ginger' years ago, suggesting just such a thing, that the WIldhearts team up with similar-minded bands (so TV, Dogs, chucked in Wonder Stuff, Levellers and so on) to record a true Wizzard/Slade/cheesefest xmas single. As far as I remember the reply was pretty positive, but then I guess the Darkness might just have beat him to it (albeit without the collaborative bit)...

I think I also in the same message suggested a new merch line, Wildies ties for those of us stuck in offices all day. Similar positive response but still yet to see the ties!
