Scarborough - why was it bad???

i thought the WH sounded great but the set list was a bit too predictable

the worst bits of the day were -

the bar serving only larger or bitter - where was the JD?
the length of the beer tent queues

me and evil "ollie" elvis kinda forgetting to work out where we were gonna sleep - walking around scarborough for what seemed like hours after the gig, wasnt fun

he mentioned there were a group of people camping out somewhere- that must have been some of you lot then!

A rainy cliff top on the North Sea in September wasn't the best place to put the gig. I was still in summer mode and only went up in a T-Shirt.

I got there late and only saw Terrorvision and The Wildhearts but I found the vocals for both Tony and Ginger were patchy. There were times when I couldn't hear them at all.

Also, what happened to the T Shirts? I was hoping a special one would've been printed for the gig but couldn't find any official merchandise at all.

All in all; I thought it was a good gig, with good set and nice to see Danny again.

Anyone know what the score is wih the DVD? I emailed The Wildhearts site a couple of months back but no one got back to me.

Hard to tell if Ginger sounded patchy when the whole mob was singing along so loudly that ya couldn't hear'em anyhow. What fun. We took one look at that beer que and went to the pub down the hill and got nice and toasty! I heard the DVD is on the backburner for now.
