Wolves meet-up

Right. Got my hotel and trains booked. Sam and me are turning up at about 4 in sunny Wolverhampton. Is there any consensus on a watering hole we should be heading to once we've checked in?
Also, who's staying at the Novotel and up for drinks after?
less than two weeks! Can't wait!

The Royal London seems as good a place as any. It's allegedly a bit studenty (not overly to my mind though), but it's big so there should be no problem if we turn up en masse.

we're in the britannia as well, probably around from about 4ish during the day so up for a meet up!

re the pub, even if it's a bit studenty, as it's close to xmas wont all the students have gone home for xmas?

I'd have thought so, and it wasn't exactly busy last year, so we shouldn't have a problem increasing their trade by a few cheeky halves. :wink:

right. as a Wolvo bloke, the ONLY pub fitting of a pre-Wildhearts bash is the Giffard Arms. literally just down road from Civic/Wulfrun and Wolvo's only rock pub

sort it out people. we'll be in from half 6

Not a clue what time we're getting there, but tix are box office collection and we want to see all the bands, so might be bypassing the pub in favour of freezing our arses off in the queue...might try to drop in for a brandy, purely for insulation purposes of course :wink:
