Jackdaw4 new album available for pre-order

The new album from Jackdaw4, Bipolar Diversions, will be released on 22 October 2007.

Over the next four weeks songs will be previewed on the Jackdaw4 MySpace page (although MySpace is being a little slow right now) and on Willie's personal Facebook page .

The album can be pre-ordered directly from the band, or will be availavble from iTunes on 22 October.

Jackdaw4 will play on Saturday November 24th at the Soho Revue Bar in London. We’ll let you know about advance tickets in the immediate future.[/url]

I've pre-ordered, can't wait. The one new track from the album that I've heard is great.

Updating the media player on Myspace is a pain in the backside - have trouble every time I do the Clearlake one.

The album came this morning and I have listened to it fully 3 times now (am on the 4th now)! It's 'kin great and well worth the wait. Very eclectic with superb lyrics and cracking harmonies and the odd bit of profanity too. Hints of XTC, Roy Wood, "Fairground music", The Who, Honeycrack and even ELO.


Don't even contemplate buying it..........just buy it!!!! You will love it.................

I'd ordered it on the previous Thursday, so you're probably looking at about Wednesday. Have you had any notices from them?

Just found something interesting on t'internet....a zipped file of 18 film and tv scores that Willie D has recorded over the years for various different shows. I'm not sure if any of you are aware of it or not?

Obviously, It's nothing like Honeycrack or Jackdaw 4, but, none the less there are some very beautiful and atmospheric mood pieces amongst the 18 tracks. Infact, It makes a nice chill out album....

It goes without saying that these pieces are for promo purposes only and are not for sale etc........
