Rocks Off Concert Cruise Sold Out

They sent out a bulletin on Myspace. That's pretty cool news, right? They don't do a lot of selling places out in the states, right?

The cruise capacity is listed as only 200. I'm surprised it took this long to sell out.

I think this boat gig is going to be very much worth filming. I may bring an actual mini video recorder (as apposed to the sony camera).

Please do! I would love to have a video of the show as a keepsake. Just 200 fans? Wow, this is gonna be the most amazing musical experience ever. Better than the Stones!

Are you driving to Minneapolis then flying, or are you driving the whole way from Regina?

I wanted to drive to Minneapolis and then fly. It was the best combination of cheap and quick that I could get.

But, my girlfriend found out about the Amtrak train and wanted that whole experience. So we're just driving down to Fargo and taking the train from there. It's about 44 hours, including about 6 stationary. For over half the trip we are either in business class or in a private room. We're bringing a portable DVD/CD player so we can rock out the whole way. Total cost: US$1013. Now I just have to find the ritziest park benches to sleep on and the cheapest two-day YMCA memberships for showering, because hotels are fuckin' out of this world in Manhattan.
