Also Danny was in the building.

Nice laydeeeezz. Singer kept scaring me by looking into the crowd and making eye contact(with everyone). They were alright I suppose, bit stoppy starty when big riffs were needed.

I saw Girlschool in their heyday.

Col,
Why didn't you tell me you were going, would have been good to catch up.

Mr McCormack was there too, ep getting closer to release, also hinted about some live shows.

Love McQueen, can't wait for the album, Hayley's a fab drummer, got to speak to her and the band for ages again last night. Wasn't introduced to the new Bass player yet though :(

The Almighty, well, bloody great, every song a fukkin classic, must have been the alcohol, but, they made me sing along properly for THE first time at a gig during Wild and Wonderful

Bought a t-shirt with a classic message on the back:
All Old
Al Bald
All fuckin dripfed

Aw fuck Steve, I was even looking out for you in case you were there.

I only decided to go Thurs, then I was told no room in car. Then Friday 1pm I was going again.

Did you go downstairs to the club afterwards, we stayed for a couple of pints. Feeling rough today as expected.

Not to worry Col, next time with a bit of luck, I actually only have McQueen again coming up at the moment, dunno if they were to your taste.

Yes, I went downstairs to Revolution, stayed for a couple myself, left at quarter to 12, needed something to eat and my taxi was picking me up at 12, got back home to meet some of me mates in Chicogo Rock, wish I'd stayed over Newcastle :D

Dunno how we missed each other in Revolution then, not that many in to start with. I walked in and they were playing Babylon (BB/Ginger), it was downhill from there though.

Chicogo Rock, is that crocodillos?

McQueen were ok, but not that fussed about them. It's not even that easy to get to Newcastle for me without driving. I fuckin hate not being able to have a pint. Last nite was great coz I was able to have a skinful and see a good band.

Stood on the middle level at the right hand side where you come in, couldn't tell you what was playing when I got in there.

Chicago Rock is the new club where Ansa Motors used to be, at the top of the street, Crocodillos is down the bottom end.

Glad you managed a few pints this time :D

New bass player's lovely. I nearly texted the missus to tell her it was all over, then sanity prevailed. But what can I say? I got a soft spot for chicks who play bass....

As for the t-shirt, they must have had someone good (or pissed) coming up with the designs, cos mine from Sheffield calls it the "Are We There Yet?" tour!

Jonestown Mind is brilliant live.
