Let's start a band!

I've got tonnes of material and I've been writing and playing since I was 18 (now 26). For the last few years I have been playing each instrument and using the PC with varying degrees of success but now I am at a point where I am using some high qualiy recording gear and churning out some pretty good stuff. I can email you a couple of tracks if you;re intested. (drums are synth but adequate)
Everyone I've hooked up with eitehr been indie orientated or below par.
I live in Hartlepool but can travel as required.
I play rhythm guitar and can sing, can also play bass and I have all the gear bar a drumkit.
It seems to me that there are so many musiicans on here, many of you may be in a similar posotion to myself, and where better to get a group of like minded musicians than a Ginger forum!
My main influences are:
Wildhearts (no comment required)
Green Day (attitude)
Blink 182 (love those harmonies)
Eve 6 (vocal awseomeness)
And others, generally good honest rock music with a modern twinge.
I am quite prolific and have a lot of material so don't worry if you don't have anything to bring to the table.
Although I am sure that all of us harbour dreams of world domination, I'd be happy if I could get on stage and rock a few more times before I am too old! I did a lot of gigging with my old band a few years ago and I miss the buzz more than anything.

And this is not an ego trip. Would love to have a band with equal input from all band memebrs, or even just some that turn up and play. It's all about making some noise that sounds better the louder it gets!
