OK, we all know that Ginger's a song writing legend and there should be a bank holiday in his honour, but who out there in Gingerfanland is in a band?
For those of you who are, I'm in a Nottingham based four piece who are happy to arrange gig swaps etc, so check us out and if you fancy sorting something let us know...
For those of you not in bands, feel free to check out my efforts and those of any replies and let us know what you think!
"Felicity Kicks" are on MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/felicitykicks and have a soon to be re-vamped homepage at http://www.felicitykicks.com so come and say 'hello'!

I've heard of you guys, you played with my old band The Authentics...

I'm a solo artist. Sounds can be heard here

www.myspace.com/reinventingthewheeluk

or here

www.soundclick.com/reinventingthewheel

I play in and around Leicester mainly for my own enjoyment, I gave up the idea of trying to ',ake it' a while back when I realised it's a pretty much futile exercise which stops being fun after a while. Now it's fun again cos there's no pressure!

Indeed we did, I thought the Authentics were one of the best bands we've ever played with.
Checked out you tunes, it's good stuff!

Technically I'm in two bands, though one hasn't played a gig yet and the other is still pretty much a home demo project since the drummer hasn't been behind a kit for a few years - we should be rehearsing in the next month or two with any luck :)

Band 1 (which I'm not sure would appeal to folk here):

Band 2 (which might appeal to folk here):

I'm in one!!!

Called Red Storm Rising (http://www.redstormrising.co.uk or http://www.myspace.com/redstormrisinguk). We're on Five Miles High so must be ok as a band. S'pose we take the best bits (IMHO) of the Wildhearts/Ginger and Marvelous 3/Butch Walker and smash them together.

Check us out!!!!

P.S. Yeah, Reinventing The Wheel kicks the mutha-fuckin ASSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey y'all,
Me And Craig Dopes from the board are in a few bands together....

There's the mighty Block VII who can be found at www.myspace.com/blockseven
and Cleaver at www.myspace.com/cleaveruk

Perhaps we should set up a system for bands to network with each other for gigs, supports, etc?

Cheers,

Scott / Rusty 666

Wow! Thanks! Appreciate that.

You should give it a go. Voices improve with practice, just try it and see what happens.
