3 Colours Red Tabs?

Postby benwalton » 29th Jun 09, 22:23

Hey, bit of a long shot, but whatever...

Do any of you guys have a tab of Pirouette by 3 Colours Red? Even just chords would be great - me and a mate are planning on covering it...
and just last week as i was clearing shit from off my shelf...

To be fair, if i could find it I had it tabbed out from years ago seeing as I somehow got the job of go to guy for tabs when Ric Melias 3 Colours Red website was up and running. The guy did such a good job that when Grand Theft Audio started he was tapped by Mcormack to do their website.

No worries although I'm still working on it i've forgotten the entire bloody thing except the main riff*, I do remember it centers around the E B A C# progression

Righto, fuck knows how you do the tab thing on here as someone never showed me, the same someone who's gone to see Spinal Tap tonight. anyways here goes

For some reason I find that this is in neither standard tuning or e flat it seems to be in between to the two, anyone else find that?

Code: Select all
main riff
G-------------13-------------------------------
D-----------------14-14-----13-14-14------- x2
A-------------------------14-------------------

Chords

G-----9------------------------------------|-----9-----------2------9-
D-----9-------9--------7-------11--------|-----9-----9-----2------7-  x2
A-----7-------9--------7-------11--------|-----7-----9-----0-----0--
E-----0-------7--------5-------9----------|-----0-----7---------------

Verse

e------------0----------------------0--------------------0----------
B----------------5---------------------0----------------------0------
G---------6----------- x2-------6--------6---------6-----------6---
D---------------------------------------------------------------------
A------4---------------------5------------------0-------------------

verse part 2

e-------------------------------------------2-----0------------------------------0-------------
B----------------4-----2---------------3--------------3---------------------0-------0--------
G-----------4-------------4----------------------------------------------2--------------2----
D-----------------------------------0-------------------------------2--------------------------
A------2------------------------------------------------------0--------------------------------

e----------------0-------------------------2-----0----------------------------------0----------
B-------------------5-----------------3--------------3-------------------------0-------0---------
G-----------6---------------------------------------------------------------6---------------------
D-----------------------------------0----------------------------------7--------------------7------
A------4-----------------------------------------------------------7-------------------------------
E--------------------------------------------------------------5------------------------------------

Pre-chorus

G5 C5 B5 B5 x2

Chorus is the same as the intro with the riff

second verse is the same as the first

pre-chorus is the same

chorus same as before

Bridge just hammer out the chorus chords until the second part which has the prechorus chords again

into the chorus for one last time.

Hey, I'm the 'mate' that Ben spoke of. Just thought I'd actually make an effort and register on here to thank you personally for putting in the effort to write this up for us. Much appreciated.

(My first born, that you just declined by the way, could also have been used as a coat rack... missed your chance there sir!)
