Da Crue is BACK!!!

Surprised no one has flagged this. Crue's new album "Saints Of Los Angeles" out at end June. Sounds pretty good to me....a return to S.A.T.D. days with some punk and swagger thrown in for good measure.

I haven't flagged this because i've been lead to believe all along that the new album was going to be called 'The Dirt'.

But new Crue is Good Crue so...

Anyone heard the new single, Saints Of Los Angeles? Its class, they still naa how to belt out a decent song!! Hopefully more of the same on the album!!!

When I heard the first single I thought, "well, this is good but it's not great, but I could see this being on a really great album". Then I checked out the previews at Amazon and was less than impressed. The one thing my mind keeps going back to is the song entitled "Chicks = Trouble". I mean, c'mon guys. Seriously?

The new Crue album is the tits!
Best thing since 'Dr Feelgood', proper swagger to it and it's big, dumb and ace!
'Down At The Whisky' is vintage Crue.
They MUST bring Cruefest over here and The Wildhearts MUST get main support!

I've heard the previews and eagerly await the album. The title track is sheer brilliance - I personally think the Crue haven't done a bad album and generally actually get better each time. The title track to me sounds like their 'Dr Feelgood' era.

Love to see them again and CrueFest with them and the 'Hearts would be SOOO Good!

I've went to Motley.com and done the pre-order that gets me a t-shirt / CD and download which is at a good price at a weak US Dollar, although I may get stuck on import tax! But it was worth it as I now have da Crue's new album playing!!! It's simply amazing.

We wen to Crue Fest at Jones Beach this week and it was FUN!

Lots of pyro and explosions!!

Buckcherry was a nice surprise.

We missed Sixx AM. Our friend plays drums for them but we got stuck in NYC Rush hour traffic. Grrrrrr.

Held back on commenting 'til I was sure. S.O.L.A. is in my opinion, the most consistent, hard rocking album they've laid down bar none. "Face Down In The Dirt", "SOLA", "Down At The Whiskey", "Psycho In Me" absolute hard rocking class. Mick Mars is criminally underrated, Tommy Lee simply the best hard rock drummer since Bonzo. Brilliant stuff - easily in my top 3 of 2008.
