Any Max Cavalera fans out there??

Postby blackdeathcrew » 1st Feb 08, 16:36

Anyone here a fan of sepultura/soulfly??? If so, Max Cavalera and his brother Igor Cavalera (both ex-sepultura now) have their new project Cavalera Conspiracy together now and their debut is out in march (I think) there's a couple of tracks to be downloaded here - Cavalera Conspiracy's Myspace Blog (hope the link works) and they're excellent I reckon. Is good to see them working together again after years apart

Yeah I saw them on that tour, in Manchester, can't remember the support but I was 16 and bunked off school with some of my mates and got into soooo much bother. It was worth it though, one of the best gigs I've ever seen, they must have played for about 3 hours.

'Kin hell - that's some pretty good tunes right there! I'd go so far as to say that is was as good as Soulfly...I shall wait to hear the entire record before upping the ante there.

Bit of a crap name though, eh?

As for Derrick Green, I disagree that he sucks. The problem is that he isn't Max Cavalera. He's got a corking voice, a real stage presence and has been bummed by getting a spot replacing the unreplacable.
