Bored this morning, so i put in slash v buckethead in google. It came back with a few forums that were discussing who was better. And to be honest, i found that the majority were kinda leaning towards buckethead. Anyone got any views on this. I go with Slash myself. Now if u leave a comment, dont leave one saying who u think is better than both of them, it purely between slash and buckethead. We all know who the best is anyway. Marty Mcfly

Slash without a doubt. The man's a complete legend in my eyes - he was the main reason i got into rock music. I've just finished reading his autobiography, which was a really good read

It entirely depends on what type of music you're wanting - Slash is the king of dirty bluesy guitar playing, but I doubt that he could pull off a big fat electronic big of guitar wanking as smoothly as buckethead.

For the record, I prefer Slash, but he's not necessarily better.

the reason bucket head keeps coming out on top is coz 99% of the time these things are done by kids who have no frame of reference to see slash's infuence and impact on the music scene. it was the same with kerrap's best gigs of all time - most of them were in the last six months.

I now expect that statement to be pulled to bits within minutes, but hey, it's all about opinions, but if I had to choose, obviously, it'd be Slash

Slash is by far the greatest in every aspect, however Buckethead has done a lot more than just toss about with Axl, i'm awaiting listening to his latest solo madness soon.


Yeah, just to point out, i don't think Slash is the greatest in every aspect ever... EVER, i just mean between the two.
