anyone tell me anything about water rats ( location, size show times etc.) i need to figure out if its worth coming in on the train from bedfordshire.

It's dead easy as it's just down the road from kings cross station - is a pub with a reasonably sized back room (150ish?)

don't know what the stage times will be but pretty ususal (thinking 8ish for first band?)

thanks very much - i will try and persuade the missus.

Water Rats is top venue, i dont think it even manages 150 so any gig their is quite intimate, i saw Cobra Starship there in April and its one of those venues that wherever you stand youre close to the stage

So, I'm guessing some of you must of seen Ginger at Esquires in Sept '03 and Honeycrack the two times they played there (1996, I think) and also the Jellys too. Ah, the Good ol' days........................

I've seen Antiproduct there a load of times too..........................

never seen ginger there (esquires), but i did see honeycrack. once with joyrider who were brilliant and i think the other time was with china drum( remember them?) who did a bizarre punky version of wuthering heights whilst the guitarist went wandering round the audience. great times indeed.

So am I...well technically I am. My Dad just moved there. Am waddling over at the weekend actually to meet up with my brother before the Metallica gig.

Anyhoo can't go to any of the gigs totally run out of money.

I was wanting to do the Blackpool gig but cant get now so will be doing Sheffield.

Seen up Esquires over the years :- Ginger (solo), 3 Colours Red, Jellys, Yo-Yo's, China Drum, Groop Dogdrill, Anti Product, Apes Pigs & Spacemen etc.......
