Yep. Its not the usual change in direction to say the least. I personally think its a stroke of madcap genious to go from a rock an' punk band to an authentic mariachi act. Its unique thats fo sure. And the best thing about it is that theyre not just some novelty quirky coverband sideproject like 'Pop Goes Punk', they are actually a fully legitimate and origonal mariachi band without a hint of irony in the execution of the songs.
I love it! Of course its not even on the same planet as my usual Cradle Of Filth-esc musical tendancies but I was genuinely grooving along by half way through track one on the album.
