Manic Street Preachers?

I knida hate it when people (music mags escecially) slate the Manics for not being the angry punks they were in '91. Sure they've changed thier sound on a few albums but I can still, as a fan of over 15 years, still love the output.
and to a certain extent on the more recent material the edge is still there. But James himself has made no apologies for getting on a bit and not having the same immediacy they had on the first album.

And I think Know your Enemy is one of thier best albums. Soooooo underrated!!!! Unfairly mauled!!!

The best gig I ever saw was at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh in 2005 on the Past, Present, Future tour and that was like my 15th or 16th time seeing them!!
They confirmed that night (not that I doubted them) that despite where the music world is at the moment they were still one of the best bands around!!!

Btw, Kinky Machine were excellent. Saw them in King Tuts a couple of time.
Stuff like Swivelhead and Supernatural Giver were great tunes!!!!

Yes. Know Your Enemy was ace. And if they were still doing now what they did in 1991, as though the last 15-odd years hadn't happened, they'd be a laughing stock playing to 10 people in your local pub.
