I think the version on the record is someone that Ginger heard on the radio in Japan. I don't think he even knows who it is.

I think the Japanese radio thing is right 'cos I asked Ginger this yyyyeeaaarrrss ago at the LA2, comparing notes on the Lee Harvey Oswald Band - as they have what sounds like the same bloke on a track called 'When The Satans Go Marching In' on their 1st EP, only it's a 'speech' about the effects of LSD. It also sounds like the guy at the end of 'In Like Flynn'

It just made me wonder what the hell Japanese radio is like - 'coz it sounds cool.

I've always wanted to find the 'source' of these talky things but never have. I've heard the 'fuck speech' in various forms on the net.

I did find the source of the clip before 'News Of The World' on 'Earth Vs' though. that was weird.

It's a tiny clip of something called 'Ho Ho Laughing Monster' - from a collection of b-movie clips + weird tunes on a CD called 'Wavy Gravy' Its a DJ having a fit of giggles, with the sound manipulated - for no reason whatsoever!

(I don't have an all singing all dancing internet connection here - so I just googled it and looks like you can listen online here:)
