The Wildhearts are releasing The Only One as the first single from their new album Chutzpah!

Released via Backstage Alliance and exclusively to download, it serves as one of the album's most rabble-rousing, but also most poppy, moments. Taken from an album that the band describes as 'unlike any we’ve made before', lead singer Ginger said:

"I'm really excited about this song. It was written, and is sung by Scott who does an amazing job. I love the fact that the band is getting so confident in handling lead vocal roles, this is something that will make future recordings so much more interesting. This is one of my favourite songs on the new album. I never get tired of listening to it. And the lyrics are classic."

Never even installed I Tunes on my PC.If i do the legal download thing it's from Amazon.

Itunes isnt that bad anymore, all the their stuff is DRM free now so it doesn matter you play it on

Any chance someone in the know could let us know what the b-sides will be and if they are the same tracks as those appearing on the Japanese release of the album?

I won't bother buying the a-side single as I will be getting this on whatever version of the album I get which I still haven't decided on.

Any B-sides won't be tracks from the Japanese release of the album as those tracks are exclusive to that release until after the album comes out.

Do you think we'll get a lil ole preview of the track and other album tracks????? Sorry I'm an impatient fool that wants to hear a snippet of the new stuff.

I'm getting the Japanese CD, but know I'll end up downloading an MP3 version when the Jap one doesn't turn up on release day!

Um..i sort of assumed that as it was a download-only single exclusive to ITunes that there would not be any b-sides, there are loads of singles on there that are just the one song and no b-sides?

No, you're not wrong. Turns out I wasn't being vague enough.

This is a single track, er, single and there won't be a B-side - Kind of like The Sweetest Song off the last album, but with less beeping.
