i don't see why they don't just release those two as a double a-side non-album single. hell, even if it was a limited release, they could rely on selling them all to the fans.

WHY NOT JUST PLAY THE BASTARD ANYWAY?!

There is a live versoin of Zen doing the round somewhere from when they played it at the wolves Wulfrun in 2007.

Perhaps disagree with you there about the feel. Boys played it at Wolverhampton 07 and it has a very dark and broody sound. Would fit in to the PHUQ era quite comfortably. That aside, would be great to have a fully approved studio version.

The live version was.

It was pretty easy. You just had to emither someone who had it, and they'd send it to you. Image

Thanx for the offer BDC but I grabbed it off Ean. You're a diamond.

Only had one listen so far and it hasn't got me straight away - but give it time. I actually do think it's got a bit of a 29x feel to it.

Been resisting this for so long, but when you put a link up to it....
I think its great, one of those rare songs that grabs me first listen and is catchy long before it finishes...could be better as an A side than a B side....

Sounds a lot like Beautiful Thing You in the verse. Not nearly inspirational enough to be an A side IMO, however it could appeal more to the radio listening masses than what I would consider ought be A side material.

The chorus is pretty good though, classic Ginger two parter.

Still, to quote someone in another thread, more mild fart than wildheart ;)
