Hey guys, as the title suggests I've been reading this forum for a good while. Time to be more pro-active!
So yeah got introduced to the wildies in the summer of '99 and loved them ever since.

I've seen the Therapy? thread for the wolves gig, another support ideally suited - Junkster. Great rock n' roll band from the north east, who are also wildies fans.

Have to agree! I've seen Junkster several times and they are bloody good - definite Wildhearts and Therapy? influences in their music so if you like those bands then Junkster are well worth checking out.

I'd love to see a WH / Therapy? tour, myself. Therapy used to tour over here, but I dont even think they havr a record contract in the States.

If any of you haven't asked Junkster nicely for one of their free cds you're missing out on some of the best British rock i've heard in ages.(since the wildhearts in fact)

Mine arrived yesterday and i've only just been able to listen to it...my speakers are thanking me for putting it on.

As the admin of The Wildhearts Facebook group I decided to send a round message to all members of the group, letting them know of Junkster's myspace page and Peesh's generous ofer of free demos (with his blessing, of course).

Whilst a got a few messages back from members of the group saying things like "good call, Junkster rock!", I did get this as well :

Please don't send me any messages like this. I moved away from sites like bebo and myspace as I was sick and tired of intrusive advertising and general unwanted contact from randoms, talking about bands I don't give a shit about.

I know you're trying to help your buddies/band you like out, but please in future keep me out of your circulars.
