Wildhearts Hoodies?

Postby WailedHut » 21st Jun 07, 10:15

Didn't manage to make it to any of the recent gigs :( and would love a WH hoodie of any description.

Anyone know where I can get one or am I consigned to looking on E-Bay everyday?

Have searched t'interweb but no joy.

Very, very occasionally, one crops up on eBay. And then I buy it. :D

If you're going to the Christmas gig, you're best off getting one then. Or alternatively getting one custom printed from one of the online t-shirt printing sites..

Does it have to be strictly WH?

'Cos there's a pretty cool Sonic Circus one available from Vinyl Junkie :-

Er, doesn't it have a big red 'sold out' next to that? Or was it only the smaller sizes that are sold out..?

But yes, I was tempted by that..

I have that hoodie! It's one of the comfiest things I own, has saved me on many a cold night when I've accidently locked myself out :D I think I got a Medium and that's quite big on me. I'm usually a S or XS in UK sizing sooo...

Fluffygrue, what a cracking idea - custom hoodie, it opens up a whole new world of possibilities, I could have Ginger's flame tattoo up the sleeve as well as Smileybones on the back.

Cheers.

Edited to be a bit more pessimistic about that idea.. I think you may have difficulty finding somewhere that'll stock black hoodies and will print colour on them. Most places will only print on white.. I'd forgotten this.

I'm starting to think the thing to do is buy a blank hoodie, find an old WH t-shirt, and do a bit of seamstress-like stuff* to combine the two together somehow. Or just wait til December, which is probably easier.

(*Not seamstress in the Terry Pratchett sense, obviously. :P)

Dunno how much postage is, but even if it's 20 dollars, it's still okay value..

It's a US XXL though, so I guess you probably won't need a tent next time you go camping.

Oh, I don't know, surely negotiable affection would get it done for you just as effectively...

According to my occasionally reliable online translator, that little Japanese squiggle (or 'writing' as I'd imagine they call it  ) next to the larger sizes means 'remainder little', so there're a few left I guess.

Blimey, that Gearhead one would swamp me!

Had another thought, get some T-shirt transfer paper, print a design off on my printer and iron it onto a hoodie that will actually fit. Might even be able to do the flame thing!

They're available in other sizes, just think they want to offload the tents in time for the festivals!!!
