Anyone remeber who suppotred the lads on this date? Im sure it was 2001, but might have been 2000... it was a summers day IIRC anyway.

was that apes pigs and spacemen and three colours red?
if it was we had a mare with the trains that day and had to drive at last minute and saw about three chords of a.p.s.

I think the Darkness were on the next tour, which i think happened at the end of 2002? Im certain it was when Danny was back in the fold, and they played Zomboid/Soundog Babylon....fucking ace...

Darkness supported at the Mean Fiddler not the Forum, so must have been the next year. To be honest i only remember the Hearts from the forum - i was hanging off the back of the sound-guys cage and had an incredible view for the whole gig (which is rare cos i'm a shortarse).

It was Antiproduct and Strapping Young Lad for definate.

AP & Catweazle's Metal Circus is right for the summer 2001 Forum gig, but I think I remember seeing the Darkness supporting at the Astoria towards the end of 2003. Danny on stage, but no Zomboid, and no Schizophonic either (which had previously been played on that tour if I remember correctly... cue "YES! YES!... aargh, it's Headfuck again..." moment). Had a nice chat with Jef and Gary from Plan A after the gig as well.

Mostly because I'm confused, mainly cos I have a few differences, them being......
According to me:

1995 tour (October)
Support: Send No Flowers

2002 tour (April)
Supports: Antiproduct and Devin Townsend (deffo not SYL, who I'd seen supporting Fear Factory 5 months previously, incidentally, the day after I'd seen SG5!!!)

Danny was only on the 2001 tour, according to my line up history on my gig history list (yes, I know, very sad), when they returned in 2002, Random was on bass.

A trawl through the Mailing List (ouch) shows that it was June 20th 2001, AP and Devin supported. I got very durnk and danced with SImon O'Neill (listee).

IIRC that was the gig that some young chap got Ginger to help him propose to his missus?
