Anyone able to give me an idea of the best place to stay after the gig?

Preferabley within walking distance of the venue!

quite a few of us stayed at the Novotel near the station last time - and that was a very easy walk from the venue. Booze prices were silly at their bar, mind.

Hmmm. I'll just avoid the bar in the hotel then. Problem solved!

£90 for a room including breakfast for me and the missus seems reasonable enough like!

There we go. Birthday present to myself (as today is my birthday ) Tickets to the gig, and a room at the Novotel.
