Is there a list of Wildhearts songs that they have never played live or does anyone have any idea ?

No clue. My experience with the Wildhearts has been 98% plastic disks and paper sleeves.

You could try here for a start.

It's from Dingwall's site and lists all the songs he has on the various bootlegs. The songs that he doesn't have versions of are in small links, although some of them are stuff that has been done but he doesn't have, and you'll have to check which are Wildhearts gigs and which are solo. Oh, and the very newest stuff isn't there, but I think we all know what's been played.

I can't imagine there's many songs they've not performed live at some point or other. I've not seen much of Don't Be Happy.. but then, my first WH gig was '96 so a bit past that period. And I don't think they play Saddened, 'cos it's depressing.

My top tracks I've not seen live:
Just Stay, Mindslide, Show A Little Emotion, Weekend, Do Anything..
..and others that I don't remember whether I've seen them or not.

Ginger said he hated playing Mindslide, but after he did it at the birthday gig, he might have changed his mind.

Weekend is on the vinyl of 'strike back', so it'll get wheeled out now and again, you just have to have a lucky night - I don't think any of the gigs I was at on that tour got it.

Do Anything used to get played quite often around when it was released, and it's a shame they don't do it more often, 'cos it's one of my favourites too.

I think Show A Little Emotion gets an airing now and again, but you're probably hoping a bit for Just Stay, wouldn't mind hearing ...Bullshit (all the good bits of Just Stay, with a waay better chorus IMNHO) though.

It's a shame the off the wall selections have disappeared from the setlists at the moment, but here's hoping when Scott gets a chance to learn 'em all... :D

i doubt they've ever played thunderfuck live, as great as that song is, it'd probably kill the momentum of a live show, although i'd love to be proved wrong on the next tour...

have they ever played schizophonic, vday or channel bop live??

The Wildhearts have done schizophonic - I've seen it live a couple of times I think :) (both post reformation)

I've seen SG5 do channel bop (but not the wildhearts), but I'm not aware of V-Day being played live.

Cheers
Kris

I can remember going to a Wildhearts acoustic gig upstairs in the Camden Barfly a good few years ago but definitely 'post reformation'. Ginger supported on guitar - it was an excellent night for b-sides and rarer songs. Ginger played and one by one more people came on such as CJ , Jon? and (it may have been Stidi) and eventually the acoustic gig went electric.

This was one of my favourite ever gigs because we got 2 bands (i.e. Ginger then Wildhearts) playing a load of old favourites, and everyone was on good form and it all seemed very natural and unrehearsed.

Remembering them (Ginger or Wildhearts, not sure) playing 'Beautiful Thing You' & 'Two Way Idiot Mirror' which on their own made my night.

Anybody else remember this night or was it all a dream?!!!
