the problem now is
I reckon my order from japan will come a while after the release date
where as with cargo it usually arrives by the saturday before! but cant really spend another 13.99 on the album
but i'm flying to new york on the 30th and there's balls all chance of getting a copy there!
the idea of not hearing it for a couple of weeks drives me nuts

Can anyone reccommend anywhere other than hmv.jp to get the Japanese version of the album??

not really for any cheaper, HMV's uk shops will order one for you but it wont be sent
until enough order from that distributor so it could take a good while

is it price reasons or worried about your credit card being frozen?

Don't know as of yet, but the vinyl of The Wildhearts didn't come out until about 9 months after the CD release, so you never know.

Cheers for that site, will have a gander on there. I see they still have the Stop Us If...... box version which I never got around to buying. Might make that a xmas present for myself.

Strangely as we were talking about Credit cards being frozen etc. How ironic that the other day I checked my online statement that I noticed something odd, £15 had been taken out of my account by 02prepay, so for a start I hadn't topped up my phone for quite awhile and then googed 02 prepay and it turns out that it's a fraud and happens quite regular.

Went to my bank and then told them etc, they than cancelled my card and refunded me.

My new card turned up this morning, in the letter with it and it said this

"We're working very hard to keep your money safe, so very occasionally we might call you during a purchase or block an overseas transaction as part of our ongoin commitment to flight fraud."

So we have an insight into why it's happening.

Credit card freeze worries me

Dont let it bother you
the transaction wont be made until the order gets shipped
and all that happens is you may get a call from your bank saying is this order legit
and then they reactivate it takes like ten minutes

I undetrstand however if it was an account that had direct debits and standing orders for bills etc coming out, then that account block could really cause someone some problems
