I posted this yesterday, seems certain to me that the station on the H&C line is open, as yet, no confirmation. I think I'l email tlf

I hope both lines don't run into the same station???

If that station is open, it's between 15 and 20 minutes back to Euston!!!

Just found this too.......

http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/livetravelnews/realtime/tube/station-closures.pdf

and this:...
"Alternatively, passengers can use Holland Park on the Central line or Shepherd's Bush and Goldhawk Road on the Hammersmith & City line. Additional staff will be on hand at nearby stations to assist customers although, at the moment, we have no plans to run extra trains on the Hammersmith & City line.
"

No Hammersmith & City stations listed on it, so I guess it's going to be open!!!

Tickets ordered! Charges are a bit steep, though. Anybody fancy starting up a ticket agency with me?

See you all there.

The only Travelodge with £29 rooms now (I just looked) appears to be Battersea. Which requires a bit of a walk (a mile or so) from the nearest Tube but it's perfectly do-able. A few slightly nearer ones at £49 (e.g. Liverpool Street) but if you're going to pay £49, you might as well go up to £60 and stay in the Hilton!

Hilton for £60? Where's that, then? :)

Dunno whether to book something now, or wait and get a last minute deal. *ponder*

Go to www.hilton.co.uk and search "Wembley".

Unless the rate's gone up since I booked it two days ago...

Like I said though, this is the non-cancellable rate (it's about £78 to have the cancellation option) so in the hopefully-very-unlikely event of it being cancelled, plan to have a couple of days in London. Always fun to do!

Just checked and that rate's still available. At the two ends of the scale you have:

1) Full use of the leisure facilities - pool/sauna/steam room etc.
2) A bar open all night!

I just checked into the Wembley Hilton too.

Spending two nights there arriving on the Friday night and staying until Sunday.

If anybody else is going to be in the hotel gimme a shout, would be good to hook up with some real Wildies diehards.

Can't freakiing wait!!!!!!

I'm pretty tempted to add the Friday night too. Wouldn't mind a relaxed night using the pool and sauna then a drink or three in the bar...

Hmmm. Will look at my money situation and think about it.

i'm going, and i'm well excited.

for me, and i'm probably in the minority, earth vs for me doesn't have caffeine bomb on it, that's a separate single. so if there's any "playing the album and the b-sides in order" action going on, i'll be geekily but sorely disappointed if caffeine bomb doesn't get played between down on london and girlfriend clothes.

i've overthought this way too much....

they won't play them all in order, i'd imagine they'd save "love you til i don't" for the closer.

Why not? If they play them in order, Love U... ends the 'first half' then, when they come back, 29x The Pain is last, which works just as well.

that's what i was thinking. also, what's the point of playing a whole album if you're not going to play it in order?

i figured it'd be earth vs for main set and b-sides for the encore.
