H-Block called it quits after 10 years on new years eve 05/06.

I remember doing that. I am glad you digged it. I remember you freaking when you saw the newcastle ale shirt. Man, good memories. We should catch up sometime. i live in Melbourne now, in Essendon to be exact.

Rock!

Late to the party as ever... but Damo, you are a fuckin' god amongst men! The 12 year Wildhearts gig drought is about to end, and I find out a mere 3 weeks after I finally move to Melbourne. Picked up the tickets from the Corner today, and still can't quite get over the fact that I'm sitting here with Wildhearts tickets in my pocket. I honestly thought that would never happen again.

Look mate, we've never met in person but send me a description of yourself so I can buy you a beer.

Nah, on second thought - you're getting the fuckin' brewery, man!

Easy to spot: Aerosmith hat, and usually a Wildhearts shirt but not at those gigs. You'll find me. I'll be singing in the band before them. Rock!

But no beer please, just plain orange juice.

Cheers!

Right - ticket got, flights booked, accomodation sorted (a block from the venue no less). Couldn't convince any bastard to come with me but that don't matter as it seems Wildies fans are a family unto themselves. I am curious as to if anyone (most likely Damo) knows how ticket sales are going? I'm so looking forward to this and desperately want it to be something special for the lads, but I hate the thought of them coming all this way and playing to a coupla dozen people. It would be nice if this could become a fairly regular stop-off on the way to Japan

Flying up from Tassie. My wife and little girl are coming over with me but won't be attending the gig. Not really the Missus' cup of tea I don't think, she's more into this nasty wave of commercial country-pop that's going around at the moment.

My wife's coming too but not attending (although if there's tix left i think i can still twist her arm a little bit). My folks are happy to look after our daughter for the weekend.

But I'm sure we'll all catch up anyway, yeah?

Hell yes I'm excited. Anyone interested in meeting up for a frothy or two before the gig?
