It would of course be one of my own tunes.
Maybe "Tits & Ass" or "Pac Man (another drink in the wall) part III". You can hear them both on http://www.myspace.com/cetunes, I think Wildhearts could do magic with one of them.

both of those songs have lyrics that sound like ginger could have written them. " this is for the mbla i wish them cancerous decay""i'm gonna spit every word so my hate can be heard" miles hunt has some quite biting lyrics hidden in a mongst poppy melodies. sound familiar?

Does anybody have a link to a website that features pretty much every song ever written/covered, and which artist covered them.

I remember looking at site ages ago, but I did a few searches on google but nothing came up

Cheers

I'd love to see a WH cover record.
I think these would be interesting choices:

It's So Easy - G & R
Metallica - something from Puppets or the Black album
Cheap Trick - A cover that will actually show off their fantastic harmonies - something that Endless Nameless FAILED to do.
Van Halen - something from the first record.
Dogs D'Amour - Drunk Like Me
"It's always funny until someone gets hurt.
Then it's hillarious."

Mm, It's So Easy would be good, but not exactly original given that the Manics used to cover it lots in a pop/punk stylee.

Actually, they played Dolly Parton's 9 To 5 on the radio t'other day, and I couldn't help thinking how ace a WH cover of that would be..

God, just about anything. If the Wildhearts released a 4-disc set of covers, that was recorded in one take, I 'd buy it without even considering calling it a money grab.

I think multiple covers of the following would be necessary:

Metallica
The Beatles
The Rolling Stones
KISS
Cheap Trick
The Ramones
Queen
Bob Dylan
J. Geils Band
Elvis Costello
The Marvelous 3
Hellacopters
Aerosmith
Led Zeppelin
The smiths

Motley Crue - Too Fast For Love
Motorhead - Overkill
Sex Pistols - Pretty Vacant

Guns 'N' Roses - Mr. Brownstone
Metallica - Seek And Destroy
Kix - Midnite Dynamite
Ratt - Lack Of Communication
